Ladybird Red 2018

Tasting Notes

Deep dark colour. A classic blend of noble varieties, crafted from “dry land” low yielding Organic Vineyards in Stellenbosch.

Full bodied with lovely tannins, exceptional fruit and a long lingering finish. Complex, structured and age worthy. Enjoy 4 – 15 years after harvest.

Sur Lie Chenin Blanc 2020

Tasting Notes

Pale straw colour. A potpourri of flavours with white nectarine, pineapple, yellow apple and dried herbs.

The palate is rich, velvety with an amazing aftertaste. Long with a lovely balanced lingering lemon and lime like acidity.

It begs to be opened, but this wine will age gracefully and has enough structure and complexity to last 6 – 10 years. Enjoy.

Laibach Pinotage 2018

Tasting Notes

Deep dark colour. A very expressive nose with mulberry, raspberry and wild strawberry by abundance. Not too much influence of wood on the nose or palate. Tannins are soft and juicy, the overall balance judged to perfection. A wine showing the versatility of this South – African grape. It is elegant with a light structure and a long lingering aftertaste. A wine to keep improving the next 4 – 8 years after harvest.

Laibach Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Tasting Notes

The nose is more classical with red berry, cigar box and pencil shavings in abundance. Medium bodied with quite a bit of tannin and a long lingering aftertaste.

The wine is bone dry with a great acid level and a lot of ageing potential. It is not your blockbuster alcohol bomb but rather a classic wine with good ageing potential. A wine very typical of the vintage. Enjoy.
